New

Since I found out there ARE people reading this blog, (whether I want some of them to or not :)) ...I figured I might as well update it.

Lots of new and exciting changes have happened since the last time I wrote. New house, new job, new...dates.

The month began with a move into the MTV party house. Seriously. The day after I moved in there was a keg in my backyard and many drunk people milling about in the house. I think 5 single people living in a house together could've been potentially...bad. But, it's been fabulous. I really needed my own space, and I've been able to give myself that. It's weird; I guess I took for granted having my own room before moving in with Drew. But, getting back my own space has been good for me. Penny loves her yard. She's such the "queen" of the place. She trots around in the backyard, acting as if she's going to protect us if someone were to enter. In reality, she would probably just wiggle her tail and lick them to death.

I've started the ASM position at Woolly. I can't express how much I love this new job. The first show, After Ashley, is fabulous. The cast, director, and stage manager are all wonderful and I'm learning so much. For the first time in a long time I'm very happy with my career-path. I don't mind the long hours, and have even managed to make it into all of the rehearsals earlier than I need to be there (which, for a Lazy Susan is quite an accomplishment).

I've made peace with the Drew situation, despite some actions that have made that difficult. And, I've even begun to date!

All in all I'm happy...which is the most important, and much needed change yet.
