Stuff to look forward to...
I've been applying for jobs for next season. Basically, the challenge is remembering to change people's names in my cover letter as well as the name of the theatre. I almost sent one off with the wrong name, but luckily I caught myself before it was sent. I am usually quite good at cover letters, and I pride myself on this one for 2006-2007, but it gets a bit tedious sending them off to about 10 theatres. On the bright side, I've already gotten one response, from, of all places, Arena Stage. I say that because Arena is quite a good theatre and to tell the truth, I never thought I would hear from them. Not that I am not confident in my ability, I just pretty much thought they were out of my league. So, I now have an interview. I'm not getting my hopes up that it will go any further than that. But, I do think it will be fun to go in and meet the PM. And, how nice of them to give little old me a break.
Even more exciting, Bobby and I have decided to take a vacation once my season is done at Woolly. We've pretty much settled on San Juan, Puerto Rico. Which, is so exciting. We'll be going in July, so it'll be pretty hot, but probably no more than 90. Super fun.
