Wow I'm a loser

So...hello.

I guess it's been a long time, hasn't it? How embarassing! I don't even have a good excuse like (Brian) "my political campaign bars me from blogging" or (Drew) "I have a crazy job and a crazy life therefore I can't blog--I HAVE NO TIME TO SLEEP". Basically, I'm just lazy, which I guess the name of this blog really didn't try to hide that fact. It's not as if I named the blog--www.amazingbloggersusan.blogspot.com, did I? No. So, you have no one to blame but yourself for expecting non-laziness from me.

Ironically, I am being lazy right now. I am trying to put off entering all these subscriptions. I have just shifted one element of lazy to another place in my life.

OK, quick update on me.

Still living in DC
Still have a pug dog
Still have a boyfriend named Drew
Still living with said boyfriend, pug dog and best friend Mandy.

However...

I've managed to acquire a new job (yay!) as the Assistant Stage Manager for next season at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Woolly is located in downtown DC, or at least they will be as of next month. They're a contemporary theatre company who will be moving to an awesome new space next year in the heart of downtown. I'll still work at the Folger part-time, but this new job will enable me to acquire my Equity card! yay!

Because my new job starts in August, I'm taking a summer vacation! I'll end my full time employment status at the Folger June 10, and embark on many fantastic vacations. Mandy, Nate, Drew and I are going to Pawley's Island in South Carolina for a week. Nate's parents rented a fab house down there, and I'm eager to soak up the sun. After that, I'm visiting my parents in Ohio for a little over a week. Then, Drew and I, along with his parents are flying to Italy and France for 2 weeks in July. We're going to stay at their house and follow the Tour de France.

Lets see...what else? Hmm.. we went to Opening Day for the Nationals. It was amazing. The only downside was waiting for over an hour to pass through security. President Bush threw out the first pitch, and then he didn't even stay through the 5th inning! What a jerk. I love that we have a baseball team, it takes away from the College Football withdrawl I experience this time of year.

Maybe I'll post on here more often. It's filled up a good half-hour of not working.
